Hi!  This is Miles.  Lisa is the most loving, wonderful person and has a special gift in contributing to the happiness of every child she spends time with.  Children are attracted by her smile and fun-loving personality.  I feel so fortunate to be married to her.  She is truly my soul mate and so deserves to be a mommy herself to a newborn baby.

     She works as a legal assistant in a law firm where she enjoys mentoring beginning legal assistants and assisting her clients.  She has been at her job for several years and is well regarded.  One of the joys of her job is that she will be able to work from home when the baby comes.

     I (Lisa) love traveling.  This is a tradition I picked up from my parents.  I have seen much of the United States and have traveled to both Europe and South America.  We think children should be brought up with a sense of adventure and experience different cultures and ways of life.  Since our marriage, except for a vacation in Cancun (where my brother Mark stayed at our home to watch Josh and Arielle), we have vacationed with Josh and Arielle.

     We have gone to Washington, DC and spend the kids’ school vacations in Florida visiting my close friend, her husband and her two children Julie and Matty, who are 7 and 4.  I (Lisa) have known them since birth and have an extremely close and loving relationship with them.  They call me “Tia” which means Aunt.  Julie and I tell each other we love each other a “googol” or infinity and Matty tells me he loves me often.  Both are always very excited when we come to visit.
