This is me, Miles, speaking.   My mother recently moved to Florida and we have always been very close.  I am also very close to my sister and her two children.  My dad passed away many years ago.  My mom is a strong, loving woman who I admire and love very much.

     We cannot wait until our friends and family meet our little one.  We look forward to bringing our child to visit Julie and Matty with Josh and Arielle in Florida.  The kids are always excited to see Josh, who has a special way with children.  He has been a camp counselor for our town these last two summers.  Just last year he became certified as a lifeguard and will be life-guarding this summer at the town pool.

Family & Friends

     We both grew up very close to our parents and siblings surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins.

     My dad (this is Lisa) lives in New York City and I see him weekly.  My brother lives in Connecticut and we speak almost daily.  My mother passed away in 2007 and I miss her very much.  I wish she was here to see me become a mom.  I do believe she is watching over me.  I am glad she was able to see me meet Miles and marry him.  My father and mom had a warm, loving relationship and they showed me what makes a great marriage.  My mother always made sure we spent time growing up with our cousins and going on family vacations and I want to do the same for our child.

     Our very close-knit group of friends live near us and are part of our extended family.  Miles loves to barbecue and everyone compliments him on his skill in barbecuing.  We love entertaining and we host a yearly Thanksgiving dinner in our dining room for our friends and family.
